The demon laughed. "Roperi's mine to keep now, not yours,"

The servant smiled. "Well, that was.." she tried to search for the right words.

In cold blood, he moved around with heavy footsteps, a scowl graven on his face. "Who said she was yours? She doesn't want to be yours, anymore... she doesn't want to you to be hers. She excessively wants you to go back to where you came from..." He let a sigh escape him, then. "Stop hiding so I could send you back to where you came from."

"Absolutely tremendous," he murmured. "I know."

A frown etched to her face. "That's pretty... unfortunate,"

"Never!" the demon spat.

The servant nodded. "I may be a demon.. but I can still live under emotion."

He took a shuddering breath. "Well, you can't hide forever. Not with my Roperi, you can't. I will always refuse to let you."

He evinced a radiant smile. "And I may have been someone looking to find a firm ally or a fast friend to give me faithful bliss, but only to I realize that I can really like a stranger," he murmured. "And coupled with the fact that the right stranger I was looking for wasn't that hard to find, I'm really starting to think that life wants me for the first time while living it..."

"Hmph," he huffed. "Let's just find your parents and get this over with."

She giggled quietly, lightly pinning him against a tre behind him, and kissing him feircely.

"I promised you all that you'd never get her back.. and I'm keeping that promise!" it exclaimed. It never revealed itself, but it still sent a wave of fire at a him.. a huge, burning hot one, infact.

He made a metal sheathing of thickness with a bunch of shadows. The shield managed to refuge him from the attack.

He tried to nudge her away. "No..." he protested in a moan.

"Agreed, demon."
He nodded wisely her way.

"YOU FOOL!" the demon spat, angrily.

The servant let out a sigh. "What's wrong?" she asked.

He didn't respond to the remark. He just shifted the shield for a sword with a curved blade and thick back. He took the sword and charged for the beast rapidly.

"I don't know you, and you don't know me," he answered. Mildly still trying to hold her away. "Introduce yourself," he suggested.

And he began to sprint instead of jogging.
She was left no choice but to follow his lead.

The beast glared coldly at him.

"Well... first of all, I'm Roperi and Neander's servant."

He raised the sword high and flashed his fangs.

"Don't stop there," he urged her on, pumping her for more additional information. "What else is there to know about you? Surprise me. Make me think that you defy logic, somehow..." He then cracked a grin at her. "Just kidding."

He slowed to a walk. "We're approaching the forest, Amarantha, so stand guard once we do... this could get very ugly,"
She nodded attentively, walking as well, now. "Alright."

"Fine! Take her! But never open your mouth like that, ever again! It's toxicated. It smells terrible. It could kill a flying bird!" [[XDDDDDD]] she hissed, before escaping out of Roperi's body and leaving it there.
Roperi coughed.

The servant nodded. "Well...as you already know, I'm a demon.." she sighed at that one thing she'd said, before closing her eyes, allowing the wind to blow into her hair. "I have no siblings, nor do I have parents.. anymore." she continued, allowing a ruffled sigh to escape.

He came to a halt and lowered his sword. His ears twitched and he contracted one eyebrow. "My breath does not stink..." he objected sourly, offended. He planted the sword into the black earth barbarously and began to pout. His sword sank away as he started to mumble to himself neglectful things.

He smiled with understanding. "And now... you're grief-stricken?"

He trudged on into the forest.
Her heart began to race.

Fairly bloody, Roperi moaned. "You idiot.. do something.."

The servant didn't reply. She was lost in thought. She thought back at her parents, and all the good times she's had. "Mother.. father.." she mumbled sadly.

Realization hit. "Oh! I'm sorry!" he gasped. He hastened over to Roperi and stooped over her. "Are you okay...?"

He was gave her a sympathetic stare. "It's okay. It's normal. Life doesn't ever meet one's prospects. Because life is unfair..."

He just walked and walked.
She rambled after him. Eager to catch sight of her parents...

Roperi coughed a bit more. "Sort of.. but then again.. no, at the same time," she replied, but surpressed a slight laughter.

He lost his train of thought as he stared into her eyes. He also tried to mask his sadness. "Roperi..." he whispered. "You really scared me..."

His face twisted into pain. "I'm really sorry...!" he told her in a low and broken voice.

"How much further?"
"Not much further..." he replied automatically.

"'Tis not your fault," the servant replied, simply.

"Neander.." she murmured. "I'm sorry for how much I might have scared you.. but the past is the past, and that shall be considered the past, and not the present."

Still, his eyebrow bridged and he tensed against the tree.

He took a breath and tried to calm down. "Yeah... but the demon's going to come back, Roperi... it's not like being able to grasp every straw of excuse I have to keep you with me forever... is going to keep us safe in eachother's arms..."

"Good," she mumbled. "I can't tell you how dog-tired I am..."
He just chuckled.

The servant remained silent.

Roperi nodded understandingly.

A sigh broke loose as he suddenly drapped his arms around her shoulders and pulled her into a firm hug.

He kneeled at Roperi's side. "I wish we could get rid of it..."

"Don't tell me you aren't just as worn out as I am, right now."
"Actually, I am pretty worn out..." he admitted with a laugh. "I might just pass out."
