He crept up through Christine's room, on towards the twins' room.
He would have them.
After binding Christine to the table, he vowed he would bring someone back to her. "Not Raoul. Someone female."
He opened the door, silent as the deathly viper. They were both in their night clothes. He soundlessly tied their hands and feet, and gagged them. He then lugged them back to Christine's room and took them through the tunnel.
Laying them down on the bed, he turned to untie Christine. "Your sidekicks, my dear."

She never woke up during the process.
But when her head hit the new bed, and the footsteps drifted off. She half opened an eye. Her thoughts were fuzzy, and her vision blurred. Um. Her eyes opened wider. Then, she noticed the gag, and then her hands and feet tied.
Oh now come on! She thought, her eyes darting around frantically.
