Lily Evans walked onto the Hogwarts express. She walked into an empty compartment.

Severus walked onto The Hogwarts Express. He looked around the compartments, looking for somewhere to sit. He saw Lily at one & smiled, "Hey." he said, going into the compartment.

"Hi Sev" she smiled. "This is so exciting!"

He smiled at her, " I'm glad to finally be going here. " he said. " My parents talked about it all the time. "

At that moment, James Potter was looking for a compartment as well. He looked at the one where Severus & Lily were, & went inside. " Hey everyone. " he said, grinning.

"Well, Petunia's not talking to me," she muttered and to James, "Hi"

Severus shrugged, " She's not like you, " he muttered as well. " Hi, " he said to James as well.

James grinned, " Hi. I'm James Potter, " he said, sitting down. " And you two are? " he asked.

"I'm Lily Evans" said Lily quietly.

Sirius Black walked up to a compartment to where other people were talking at the entrance. "Hello" he said.

James looked at Lily. Wow, she is so pretty. he thought. Then said, " Nice to meet you. "

" I'm Severus Snape, " Severus said.

" Hey! " James said to the boy who just walked up to the compartment, " I'm James. James Potter. " he said.

Severus frowned, not liking the Potter boy at all. He acted like such an immature retard.

Lily nodded her response.


"Nice to meet you, I'm Sirius. Sirius Black" he said in response.

Remus Lupin walked up to a compartment. "May I sit here?" he asked.


"What house do you want to be in?" asked Sirius

Severus just stayed quiet, a frown still on his face.

James grinned, " Definitely Gryffindor. Where the brave duel at heart! " he said, the cheeky grin still on his face, " What about you? " he asked him, pushing his glasses up his nose.
He then looked at the other boy at the door, " Of course! "

"Anything but Slytherin" said Sirius.

"Gryffindor sounds awesome!" said Remus.


"What are the houses?" said Lily quietly.

James looked at her, " They're Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff & Slytherin. " he said. " But yeah, Gryffindor is the best! I hope I'll get sorted into that one." he told them, " & you two should get sorted into that one too. " he grinned.

" There's nothing bad about Slytherin. I hope to get sorted into there. " Severus said.

James scowled, " Slytherin sucks. "

"Not one person in Slytherin has not turn out evil," said Sirius, "I should know" Sirius rolled his eyes.

Lily watched as the boys argued over the best house.

"Well, I'm fine with whatever I get," said Lupin, "As long as I don't get Slytherin"

Severus raised his eyebrows. " My whole family's been in Slytherin... it's the best house. "

James grinned, " I don't think so. They're a bunch of pure-blood freaks. " he said, '' And what do you mean, Sirius? " he asked.
James looked at Remus, " You could be a Ravenclaw, maybe... You seem smart. "

"James, my whole family has been in Slytherin. And they are crazy. And pure-blood" said Sirius

"Gryffindor seems more fun" said Lupin.

James laughed, " So you don't wanna be in Slytherin, then? That's awesome. " James thought about what Remus said. '' Well, yes. I bet Gryffindor is more fun. So I hope you get in Gryffindor too. "

Severus gritted his teeth. " Slytherin isn't for crazy people. They're far more smart than the dumb Gryffindors. " he said, " Most Gryffindors act like retards. You will probably get sorted into it, then, Potter. "

"Severus," said Lily, "Just ignore them"


"Gryffindors are the best!" said Sirius and Remus at the same time.

James shrugged at him, " Yes, they are! " James grinned.

Severus sighed, & nodded at Lily.

" What house do you want to be in, Lily? " James asked.

"I don't know.. Maybe Slytherin or Gryffindor" she said while eying both James and Severus.

" Hmm... that's weird. " James said. " Anyways, I can't wait to get there. " James said.

Outside, Kathy was talking with Peter. " Yeah, let's find a compartment... they're all full though. " she frowned.

Severus smiled.

"I think all of us want to get there" said Sirius


"That is probably true" said Remus.

" Definitely, " James grinned. " Do you have any siblings on Hogwarts? " he asked Sirius.
