M: Well, the first part of the story WAS bloody and gross, but I lost that. D: The rest might be a little bloody, what with Criminals and all....
F: Death Note isn't real, and I don't know if reincarnation is either.
REINCARNATION
A Matt FanFic Thing
NOTICE: The first part of this story was lost on my switch to Windows 7, but I will
give a little summary. It's basically the scene where Matt dies in Death Note anime,
and at the end it describes him being born again. It ends something like this:
And his soul slipped out of his body, never to be seen by his friends or family. But then it found someone worthy of being the next Matt. A little fetus who was 5 months into growth. The soul of Matt seeped into that of the little un-born boy, and they became tied together; a new Matt.
I'm sorry for this inconvenience. xP ....Well. Um...bye. xD
CHAPTER 1
Matt sighed and slipped into Mello’s arms. Her short, cropped blonde hair comforted his skin, lightly tickling his neck.
“I love you, Mello.” He said to his sister, smiling. She smiled and thought of his odd nickname; Mello. Her real name was Melly, but he preferred Mello from the day he was born.
“I love you too, Matt.” She ruffled his reddish hair, and he ran to his room. He returned with orange goggles on, and a striped jacket. She laughed, as he handed her a fake scar.
“Let’s play Criminals!” Matt exclaimed. It was his favorite game to play. Him and Mello were criminals running away from the police, and sometimes Mello owned the mafia if she was feeling greedy. He had thought of it when both had been bored, trying to think of something to play.
“Okay, Matt.” Mello said, taking the scar from him. It had been his Christmas gift last year, because in the game she had been in a explosion. It fit on her face perfectly, and had come with a kit, as the sticky substance wore off quckly. Mello walked into the bathroom and applied some sticky stuff on the back, positioning it on her face. She slipped on a sleeveless leather jacket over her tanktop, and pulled out her cross necklace from underneath.
You see, Mello had decided that while her parents had no religion, she would be Christian. Matt of course was too young to understand religion, but she thought that eventually he would decide; stay with none, or choose one. She then stepped out of the washroom.
“Where were we, Matt?” Mello asked Matt. He held up his gun, which was obviously not loaded. Their father had bought it the same Christmas that Mello had gotten her scar. Matt loved it.
“I was making a distraction so you could take Taka!” He said. “I drove up and shot a bunch of people, left smoke bombs and stuff. Then now you drive up and steal Taka from Lider!” Matt pretended to drive away, and made siren noises so that it seemed as if the police were following him. Mello shook her head and ‘drove’ up to where Taka and Lider were supposed to be.
Mello didn’t know where Matt got his names from, but they always seemed to fit.
“You’re coming with me, Miss Taka.” Mello said to the imaginary person. Then she lifted her head to Lider. “I’ll keep her safe.” She lifted Taka onto her imaginary motorcycle and drove off.
“Hey Matt! Where’m I going?” She called. A reply came from far away, soft and distant.
“Go to the ruins, where that truck is! Eventually, you have to burn her!” Matt said, and suddenly he walked up to her. “We’ll do my part after. I want you to be there. I’ll be Taka, so it’s easier and my plot actually works.” He ‘sat’ behind Mello, and held on tightly. Mello drove to the ‘ruins’, which was actually their ruined couch fort. She put Matt on top of the couch.
“How’s that?” She asked. He nodded, which probably meant ‘good.’
“Get a knife.” He mouthed, and Mello reached into her pocket, pulling out a fake knife. He screamed, and then mouthed ‘drop it.’ She assumed he meant the knife, and Mello obeyed. The next order was ‘turn around.’ She did. Watching out of the corner of her eye, she saw Matt pick up the imaginary knife, and he threw it at her.
She pretended to die, falling to the ground, sprawled out.
“Gasoline spilled out of Mello’s pocket, and one of the candles in the ruins lit it. The fire burnt Taka, and Mello.” She looked at Matt. How were they supposed to play if Mello was dead? He stood up, stony-faced.
“Now for my part.” He said, and grabbed her hand. Leading her to the ‘street,’ Matt pretended to be driving again. The sirens got louder and louder until she knew he must be cornered. He got out of the car, laughing his Criminal laugh.
“You won’t kill me.” Matt said to the police. “I know too much. You won’t. Your boss would kill you.” He made gunshot noises, and fell to the ground. Gasping, Mello realized that their Mom must have finally forced him to give up Criminals. She noticed a glitter as Matt pulled out his gun. She thought it looked different for some reason. Shaking the thought off, she intently watched her little brother. He pointed the gun at himself, and she gasped again. The gun had a bullet in it! Matt was going to kill himself! His finger tightened on the trigger and she jumped at him, knocking the gun away.
There was a ear-crushing noise as the gun shot. Mello’s last sight was the barrel of Matt’s gun before she died.
