Oh, maybe if he survived today, when he got home, he would ask his mother if he was allowed to transfer to a different school...maybe move away....change his name....dye his hair....

Brian bit his lip, and clenched his fists. Much as he wanted to let her be on her murderous way, his sense of justice overwhelmed the sense of fear.
"No, you're not killing anyone today! Or ever again. You can't just go around attacking people for your own selfish reasons. And if it's Nikki you're gonna go kill, you can just forget it. We all know she's a brat, but that doesn't mean you can just go rip her throat out."

The bell was about to ring, so Nikki decided to go into the school a little earlier. She didn't want her hair getting messed up at all when a huge crowd came flooding in. Her heels clacked loudly on the floor as she walked through the school. Turning a corner, she noticed Becca and Brian talking in a hallway. At first, she was jealous, then realized Brian was looking angry at her.
"Hey Brian," she said, walking past Becca without any acknowledgement.

"Oh, hi Nikki," mumbled Brian, glad for a distraction.

I rolled my eyes lightly, growling slightly, and walking off. I held up a finger to Nikki before getting into homeroom.

Nikki scoffed as Becca walked past, but ignored her otherwise.
"So, Bri-"

"BRIIIIIIING!" went the school bell.

"Aw, what a shame," said Brian, shrugging. "Guess I'll have to catch you later, or something!"
He ran off quickly, on his way to homeroom, which he realized with a jolt, he shared with Becca.

Brian raised an eyebrow, and cast a worried glance over at Becca, but said nothing. He just gratefully slumped into his seat.
Glancing down, he noticed the extra bookbag full of books to be donated to the library was still with him. That was the whole point of going in early... Nice, the vampire wasted all my time, so I still have to lug this thing around.

Brian shrugged. "It's nothing really, just an extra bag."
If this is my punishment for not wanting you to sick your disgusting fangs in my throat, bring-it-on! he silently challenged her. However much he wanted to say it aloud, Brian at least had enough sense not to attract attention to them in homeroom.
