James and Holly both kinda shrugged and remained quiet. Talk about third-wheeling! James almost laughed. Oooh! Tyler's got an older girlfriend! he thought.
She'd better only like him as a friend, thought Holly viciously, No doubt she'd end up killing him if they dated!

Tyler raised an eyebrow. Whatever. But when you go around hugging people and declaring your love for them, its natural for someone to make an assumption....oh, but I bet you can read that on my face, too.
"Well, if you say so!" he responded, shrugging.

"Huh? Okay then, I'll come over," James told him. That's funny, before she was intent on coming over...Maybe they have a telepathic link.... He seemed to lighten up while getting lost in other ridiculous thoughts such as these.

Holly shrugged. Jeez, everyone seemed so normal last year. Why, all of a sudden, is everybody acting wierder this year?

Nikki pulled into the school parking lot in her sleek, black convertible Mustang. Her father was a sports car enthusiast, and it was a good thing he worked for a multi-million dollar corporation, otherwise she'd never have this beauty. She opened the door of the car, and let herself out. She was wearing a ripped, black denim skirt and a designer purple and white tank top. Oh, look who it is, she silently sneered, seeing Becca in her oversized sweatwshirt a few feet away.

Brian pulled into the parking lot a little bit after Nikki, although his entrance wasn't as grand. He was just driving his brother's old car; a worn-out green pickup truck. He sighed when he saw Nikki staring venomously at Becca. I wish she would stop that, he thought, debating whether or not to set Nikki's head on fire. He could, if he wanted. Without even leaving the dirver's seat....

Becca turned around, her red eyes staring directly at Nikki. Urg. That girl bugged her. She noticed Brian behind her, her crush. Becca quickly turned around again and walked straight into the school.

Nikki just brushed her golden-brown hair behind her ear, and smirked. She'd see Becca later in class, so why waste her time talking to that girl now? What a wierdo! Where does she find all of those crazy outfits?

Shrugging, Brian got out of his car. He had an extra backpack with him; it was full of books his mom was making him donate to the school library. He didn't want to carry it around with him all day, so he decided to go into the school and dump it in his locker, since the library wouldn't be open for a few more hours.

"Heeey, Brian," said Nikki, winking at him. She looked miffed when he ignored her and kept walking.

" 'Morning, guys," he said to a group of Juniors (Holly, James and Tyler) as he walked by them and into the school.

Brian dragged along the extra bag with him, as he pushed open the door with his shoulder. He thought he saw someone disappear down the main hallway just seconds before him, but he shrugged it off.

Finally turning invisible, I noticed Brian. "Hi Brian." I spoke softly, still invisible.

Brian stopped dead in his tracks. "There's something next to me, and it knows my name," he thought aloud. "How do I react...? Erm...hello, voice!"

"That's completely irrelevant!" said Brian, wondering whether or not he could hit the voice. Well, he couldn't see it, and that would probably be a drawback. He debated whether or not to illuminate the room with his fire powers, but decided against it. The voice was invisible, not hard to see.

"But what does that have to do wit- AUGHHHHH!" cried a frustrated Brian, as he accidentally dropped the extra bag on his foot. "This is not a good day. I'm hearing voices, and I'm dropping books..."
