Somehow, it seems to me that even if Iris was an accident, her mom would at least treat her with some affection. I guess you'll reveal all of that later on in the story, it was just my observation. Because, if her mother really didn't want to keep Iris, they would've put her up for adoption after her birth, so one would think that there is a slight amount of affection involved...? But that's just me. And I expect another shocking ending from you, Grace, of course. ;]


Other than that, I'm really enjoying your story. xD Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I've been down south for a few days (I'm actually from the North), but I keep reading whatever aunt Katie says in this southern valley girl kinda accent. xD

That's how these stories typically unfold...well, I'm a rather corny person when it comes to books and movies, so I really hope everything works out. ^.^ (But it'll still be a good story even if it doesn't.)

I went to do a chapter outline so I didn't forget a few really cool ideas I had, and so far I have gotten through chapter 20, and I still have more material. Assuming each chapter is at least 2000, it will probably be a short novel
