-----An elf, was it? Tsurra tilted his head, his tail flicking curiously. This was something new. How could he have not noticed the female was an elf? How delightful. Curiously, he directed his mind to theirs, curious to see if he could get anything from them, or at least if they were any good at shielding their minds.

Aria felt a strange conscience trying to pick at her mind. She quickly put up strong barriers and instructed Hytara to do the same.

-----Ahh, so they’re well-skilled, too, Tsurra mused, purring to himself as he encountered the barriers. Impressive. I wonder, though . . . He started pushing at the shields in the elf’s mind, trying to see if he could find a weakness. Playing with the riders was always so much fun.

-----Utterly surprised that the barriers only grew stronger, Tsurra broke into a toothy grin and purred aloud, weaving his way to the front of the crowd to peer out at the rider and dragon. There was no telling whether they’d notice him, but he could surely get their attention once they were done greeting the town. He wanted to have a word with the two.
