"Quit rushin' us!" snapped Heather, turning towards her.
Anna Lucia said nothing, and looked like she was trying not to laugh.

"Little girl, don't call me Marv." Martin retorted, "And no, I didn't. She ordered me to follow you. If I had waited to tell her, she would have strangled me."
