I believe so. :3 Everything which is writing does. (Even some things which I don't think should count, like blogs and essays. xD I think it should be strictly creative, but the rules allow it, so yeah. xD)

I'll try to help...

Since TwigWriSum is an event where you want to write as many words as you can before September 1st—stories, poems, songs, fandubs of songs, RPs, blogs, essays and freewrites all count—you want to set a goal that you think you can achieve after ninety two/four days, or more around seventy five days if you're only going to start as of today.
I just wrote what I could in ten days, and then divided my total by ten, and then multiplied my quotient by about ninety two to figure out approximately what goal I wanted, which ended up at 250k. You can do that if you want, or just go with something you find reasonable for yourself.

As for the widget, there should be an explanation on the front post. nod

If not I'll come back and edit this post with that info.
