OK, so do we have to write stories for this? I'm planning on participating.

If we do or don't, my goal will be 10,000, and how do we know how much we've written?

I, being a nerd, calculted it, and I figured that if I write 571-ish words per day, then I can reach my goal by the time TwigWriSum ends. I know that I should write more than that per day, but this way, if I'm busy or on vacation, I can take a day or two off.

I calculated mine too. I need about 2K words a day to reach my goal of 100000, which isn't that much. I've already got nearly 3K and I started at like... 3 this afternoon.
