Heather shoved herself upright, her temple throbbed. She mussed have hit a rock when she had fallen. Blood cracked on the side of her face, and a little blood began to fall.

(I tried to read them when I was 9. I failed... I'm gonna try again though, someday soon.)

Martin tried to sit up to look at his surroundings, but to no avail. His back ached badly, making it hard for him to move.

Nick looked down in surprise, "What in the..." he trailed off as he saw what Shantaram had hit. It was a metal... thing. That was all he could tell from up there. He slid off the horse and brushed some dirt from it- It was a hatch of sorts. His curiosity got the better of him, and he tried to open it. It wouldn't budge. He then decided to bring Yvonne there, see what she thought of it, so he got back on Shataram and tried to pull him back to camp.

Shantaram immediately knew Nick needed help with the hatch, so he wasn't reluctant to return to the beach. Within fifteen minutes . . . they had arrived. Shantaram slid to a stop, and stood in front of the newly built cabin.
"Hurry up, Human!" he thought as he blew air through his lips. He danced on his hooves, growing impatient, and eager to return to the hatch they had uncovered.

"I'm coming . . . I'm coming . . ." she stated. She cursed quietly to herself when she realized it was about 6:00 in the morning . . . and raining. With reluctant steps, she walked over to Shantaram, and stood next to him, waiting for further instructions from Nick.

Yvonne raised an eyebrow, "Riding double?" she asked, but didn't wait for a reply. She simply scrambled over Shantaram's back and tried to make herself ( somewhat ) comfortable on his spine.

Shantaram, threw his head up and took a few steps backwards.
"Hey, watch it!!! I'm not that strong . . ." he snorted, and cantered choppily into the jungle. He followed his own scent trail back to the metal hatch, and stopped when he had arrived. He flicked his tail and laid his ears back, as a silent warning for the two humans to get off his back.

Nick quickly slid off, "Sorry, Bud." he whispered to Shantaram before crouching down by the hatch and turning to Yvonne, "We found this hatch here earlier today, and I couldn't get it open by myself. I was wondering if you could help me..."

Yvonne got off of Shantaram's back and knelt down next to the hatch. After examining it, she said, "Alright, you take that handle, and I'll take this one, and on the count of trois, we lift it that direction." and pointed away from them.

Heather's eyes where getting used to the light. She was tied up on a chair in a small room, everything was dark.

"She's next to me- I think she's unconcious." Martin answered. He found now that he could lift his head. So he did, and saw that he, too, was tied in a chair, only his chair had apparantly fallen over. "Well, isn't that dandy?" he muttered to himself, trying in vain to get himself right side up. Then he remembered: he could walk through walls for goodness sake! So he slipped through his ropes and jumped up.

"Here." he answered unhelpfully, "I haven't any clue where 'here' is, but anyway... Where are you?" he asked as rushed over to Addy and began to cut her ropes with his Swiss army knife that was conveniently located in his pocket.

(*Runs into corner and begins weeping*)

"Sure. And no, I haven't the slightest idea where we are." Martin murmered, finishing up with Addy. He then stood and following Heather's voice to where he hoped she was. Then he remembered his flashlight, which was in his other pocket. He pulled it out at switched it on, shining it everywhere until he found Heather. He swiftly slid the knife up (he had put it back down for safety purposes- his mother had always told him to never run with scissors or knifes.), and walked over to her and began to cut her ropes.
