Kelsey played her french horn in the noisiness of the band hall. Another french horn player looked at her with a smirk. She read her....She's first chair and she just screwed up on her solo in class today....I should be first chair... Kelsey half smiled. She only had screwed up was because the girl had accidentaly hit her music and knocked it out of place on the stand. She sighed and put her french horn in her case, after she had emptied the spit of course.

Lynis sighed, bored of this school already. When could she move back home, to her friends? She kicked a can laying on the ground, whick hit one of the many lockers that lined the walls.

As Kelsey walked out of the band hall she saw a kid kick a can gloomily. She read her thoughts.....oh... she thought to herself. homesick.
