No, stay where you are. Let me find you. You're on the road, right? How far from the forest?

"Shut up, Anlya." He shut his eyes tightly.

"Why?"

"Because I said so," he snarled.

"Okay," I shrank back, eyes wide.

Fine. Yes, smart one. How far is 2,000mi converted in to distance?

She sighed, breaking the connection. Haig was always trying to save her. Great.

Are you kidding me--

Haig stood there, kicking at a log. I watched, blinking a few times. "Haig, what are you doing?"

"She's two thousand miles away."

"Who is?"

"My sister." In between each word he kicked again, watching pieces of bark shatter and fly off.

I laugh. "You're kidding me, right?"

"No."

Minuets later, we were flying through the air; me, in Haig's arms with Lucky in my arms, screaming my brains out. Haig struggling with my weight and almost doubled over with laughter.

A high-pitch whistle like sound shattered her quite. What was it? Ada opened the door a crack, she heard them. Laughter, screaming. Two words. Haig's flying. Ugh.

Will you shut her up? She asked srcastically.

If it was possible, I would!

Haig landed, dropping me on the ground. I kissed the dirt, screaming, "THANK GOD! GROUND!" I collasped completely, releasing Lucky and bursting into tears.

"H-haha, y-you guys are so funny! No seriously could you be any louder?!" ada asked.

She got out of the car, walking to anlya and picking her up.

"Come on it isn't that bad," Ada said, wiping the dirt and tears off her face.

I pushed away from her violently, holding up my hand. I darted off and barely managed to make it behind a tree before I vomited. I returned, tears still streaming down my cheeks. As well, I was shaking. "You're not the one who's terrified of heights," I snapped.

Lucky sat down and started to groom himself.

Haig snickered. "God, Lucky, can you do that somewhere else, please?

"Yea you're right, but I'm also not the one who gets a kick out of scaring teenage girls," She looked at Haig.

God, he was sooo immature sometimes.

"Well, shall we go back Haig?" She asked.

"Come on, Anlaya let's get in the car," Ada coaxed, opening the passager door.

"What? If you were me, you'd be absolutely thrilled right now," Haig replied, his wings folding into his back seamlessly. "Go to wear? Home?" His expression became dismal. "Can we just go to the hideout or something? I really don't wanna go home just yet..."

I looked up. Grabbing Lucky, I set him in first. Then my bag. Then I crawled in, still a bit green around the gills.

"But, I'm not you, so it's cruel," Ada snapped. "That's what I was asking, you idiota! Should we go to the Hideout?!" Ada was to her breaking point.

Can he not understand English?

"Anlaya, do you have The Book?" Ada asked, through the window of the car.

"In my bag," I said quietly, hugging Lucky to my chest. He clawed and mewed, trying to get away.

"Yes, idiota!" Haig said, spitting 'idiota' as if he were mocking her.

"Could you write in it something about a hotel or gas stop, because we need gas and I need a nap," Adabella sighed pulling, out her hair tie as she did so.

"One more thing, could you write in there something about Haig losing his voice? We need quite," Ada asked, winking at Anlya.

I smirked. "Okay!"

"Don't you dare."

I whipped out the notebook, scribbling something wildly. Seconds later, there was a yelping sound from the backseat. Haig clutched at his face, his eyes wide. I giggled. 'There's a gas station down the road," I told her, nodding. "Just around that bend."

Ada smiled wickedly.

"You are a life saver, girl," She purred getting in the driver's seat.

Locking the door, switching on the air conidtioner and ajusting the mirror, Ada looked in the back seat at Haig.

"Beat you again little Bro," She laughed gunning the pedal.
