Cages-Becoming the Caged PART OF THE NEXT CHAPTER UP!

Chapter Five
I watched helplessly as Autumn and another kid were dragged into a little room, Autumn screeching her lungs out all the way.
I waited for hours after she was gone, trying to keep my eyes open for her. Kayla and Rose had already fallen asleep after her screeches ended. I would occasionally hear a yell or a scream, but everyone remained asleep.
I guess my body had enough, because I rembered drifting off to sleep as I heard the door to the little door open...
The next morning, Autumn was at her usual place in front of the cage. I could see the tearstains on her dirty white face though. I curled up closer to her, then fell asleep, letting her image grow fuzzy in my mind.

I don't like them. Mean people!

Chapter Six
The next morning, I woke up to find Autumn pacing the cage nervously, her eyes wide with fear.
"What is it?" I asked.
"They took the blood test, to see if she was pregnant," Kayla answered, her eyes bleak. Rose meanwhile kept on sleeping, unaware of the things to come.
"Hey, what's wrong with your friend," a new voice spoke. I turned my head to the source, and saw a boy about my age. He had thin, dark hair and large green eyes. His skin was a pale, dirty white.
"She got...bred yesterday," I gulped.
He nodded thoughtfully. "I can understand why that would make someone nervous. So, what's your name?"
"Elizabeth. You?"
"Matthew."
I smiled. "Matthew, huh, nice name."
I froze as the door opened, and one of the testers came in. Those are the people that test your blood after a breeding to see if you're pregnant.
I heard the tester murmur something to Autumn, and I saw my friend freeze and then slump on the floor with a cry. "What did she say?" I asked.
Autumn looked up, eyes full of tears. "I-I am pregnant!"

I can't, I got to head for the bus soon, so I gotta get off now. See ya later, loving fans!
