she said, beginning to walk along the thin gurgling stream. "Or . . . maybe we should go back to the group?" she queried, checking her wristwatch. "It's . . . kinda getting late . . ."

"I'm fairly sure it's fresh . . . I mean, it's flowing downward . . . probably comes from a spring or waterfall. So it's not saltwater . . . but yeah, better to be safe than sorry." Yvonne agreed.

"Hey look! More hoofprints!" she said loudly, pointing to another trail. "And they're fresh too!" she added excitedly, while observing and feeling them.
