Yvonne turned her head to see a black shadow emerge from behind trees. It chased the boar away, and silence followed.
She ran over to Nick and Shantaram. "Oh my gosh . . . are you okay?" she asked, worried.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." Nick said. "Just some bruises probably. Nothing serio- AGH!" He cried as he tried to stand up.

Yvonne held his arm to help him stand. "Maybe I should go get Dr. Shepherd?" she suggested.
