"Seriously?" My eyes widened... and then the bell rang. Since we were allowed to use our phones at Crosswood, I took mine out and dialed Noah's number. "Noah? I might not be able to make it tonight... Miranda's back and freaking me out a little..."

I giggled, sadistically of course. Jane must've gotten to me, for I was giggling and eavesdropping on Amanda's panicky phone calls. I heard Noah reply a disappointed, "Okay.." and I ended their conversation, with a creepy-complex grin. What in the world happend to me? Frowning, I shook my head, as if to rid myself of any doubt. Do I even know who I am? Or infact, what I am?

I shrugged, "I guess so. What does it look like? That I changed into a unicorn?" I added sarcastically. A smirk appeared across my face. "Wait... Wait. No, I am a magical banana!" I sighed, the burning sensation returned, but for right now I ignored it. Only in this moment was it tolerable, though I had to hunt right before I came. It was worth it..

"Still without a purpose." I whispered distainfully, in a low voice, too low for human ears. "But yes, I am very much the same." I gave her a soft, faint smile, which in other words was very uncharacteristically of me.

"I think people are already suspicious." I raised one eyebrow. Taking a glance at Amanda's phone, I saw that Noah was calling. He's gonna be mad that she didn't answer.. "I'm as pale as a sheet, plus cold. People are noticing..."
