"You can call me by my name, please," she cocked an eyebrow at him, "I don't answer to your pet names. So what is something that I can do to gain your trust?" she asked him, smoothing out her skirt as she stood back up restlessly.

"I'll get you some water when you call me by my name," Corinne answered with an annoyed tone. "I can take trust points away, you know," she cocked an eyebrow. "So ask me again, using my name. Then I'll get you water, Sadron."

Corinne glared at him, "I'll learn how to handle a sword when you learn to respect me and no sooner. And aren't you going to clean that thing? It's kind of disgusting with all that blood on it," she frowned.

"Why not? Well you'll clean it off before teaching me. I'm not afraid of drawing blood, or of blood itself. Blood on the sword is just... barbaric," Corinne scowled at him. "I always treat my sword with the respect that I would a person, but then... I treasure my sword dearly, so I guess that's natural."

Corinne scoffed, "We do not. My sword and my family are the only things I treasure. And sometimes I'd rather live without my family," she frowned. "Besides, I don't need anything except a dress to wear and my sword to protect me. I'd rather explore the world."

"And why not? I'm just as capable in a dress as they are in breeches!" Corinne frowned. "Plus breeches aren't meant for women, they feel... odd," she replied coolly, "Oh, and I guess I must thank you for the compliment," she didn't curtsy.

"So where shall I be sleeping tonight?" Corinne asked politely, hiding her sword in her skirt folds again. She vaguely hoped that it wouldn't be anywhere near him. Just because she was going to be taught by him didn't mean that she enjoyed spending time with him.

Corinne frowned but nodded solemnly, "Thank you very much, Sadron," she curtsied eloquently and sat down on the bed. She slid her sword under the mattress like always, and didn't wait for him to leave to lay down. She found that she was actually exhausted and fell asleep almost the second her head hit the pillow.

(I'm going to skip to the next morning since she won't be able to do anything until she wakes up. By the way; that was so sweet!(: )

The next morning, Corinne woke up with light streaming through one of the small windows. She yawned, stretching her arms and sat up on the bed. She pulled her sword out from under the mattress and hid it in her skirt. She walked towards the door, trying to leave without Sadron knowing.

Corinne jumped, a frown plastering her face, "Yes, actually. I was going back to my home," she replied. "Now please let me pass?" she asked, her lower lip protruding slightly in a pout.

"B-but what of my family? They should at least be notified of my housings!" Corinne persisted, "Please, just let me go home and make up some excuse? I wouldn't want them to think I was dead," she said mildly.

"Why not?" Corinne demanded. She cocked her head to the side, "Oh, are you tired? Did you really stay up all night?" she asked, her eyes widening ever so slightly.

"Oh," Corinne blushed lightly, "Well... thank you. You should get some rest, you look quite weary," she said. "Go lay down, I'll make sure that naught a person shall enter."
