Corinne eyed him carefully, "Are you sure? You look plenty fatigued in my opinion. So... since you're so capable, are you going to teach me how to handle a sword properly?" she asked with a small, excited twinkle in her eye.

He nodded slowly, and quietly whispered; "Yes. Whenever you're ready, beauty."

"I'm ready now," Corinne replied just as quietly. "So where do I start? And where are the lessons going to take place, because this area is too small to do any sufficient teaching regarding swordplay."

"To tell the truth, you're going to need a heck lot more rest. We are going to travel far." Sadron admitted in reply, closing his eyes once more, smirking, then re-oppening them, trying to force himself to stay awake.

"You're going to need more rest than I will," Corinne replied snarkily, "and I'm not going anywhere unless my parents know it. They don't have to know where I am, they just have to know that I won't be here."

Taking advantage of this, Corinne slipped off to her bearings. She was wearing her cloak, so no once would be able to tell who she was. She knocked on the door of her house. Her parents had been freaking out, as expected and only got worse when she told them that she was leaving. She hated that she had to lie to them, but she knew only one thing would calm them down. "Er... I'm leaving because I was proposed to and I need to get the wedding ready. I promise that I'll send word of when it is," she grinned, but it was forced. Finally, her parents accepted her leaving and she slipped back into Sadron's house, hoping he hadn't noticed her being gone.

Sadron remained asleep for quite awhile, unable to awake from his quiet morning slumber.

Corinne sat quietly in one of the chairs, watching him sleep. There really wasn't anything else she could do. She thought of maybe practicing with her sword again, but if she was recognized there would be some trouble.
(Next day? xD)

(Okay xD Fine... I'll start and maybe when you get back you can reply? ^^)
Corinne woke up the next morning, realizing that she should have been guarding the house. What if someone had attacked during the night. "Crap," she muttered, very much unladylike. She sat up, looking to see if Sadron was awake yet or if he was still out cold. She was almost certainly get into some trouble if he was awake. She had failed at the only duty she had had, which had been to stay awake and keep trouble out. What if someone had attacked him last night?

Sadron stood in front of her, arms crossed. "You've finally woken up, I see." he muttered, his voice hinting along the edges of an ice-cold stone.

Corinne looked away from him not wanting to see anger or disappointment on his face, "Sorry, I didn't intentionally fall asleep, you know." She looked back up at him for a second, hoping that he might forgive her. "At least neither of us got hurt. I promise I'll stay awake next time though, no matter what it takes. I think that we should bring along a third person. Otherwise I won't have a great opportunity to train. One day you'll be exhausted and the next, I will."

"And what third person may we possibly be capable of bringing along with us, hm?" he inquired, raising an eyebrow as his arms remained folded across his chest. He closed his eyes for a few moments before muttering; "Curse the idea of teaching her," his voice was far beyond too quiet for her to hear. He could barely even hear himself.

Corinne frowned, "I don't know. I have a few older siblings, but they have their own bairns, so they wouldn't be able to join us. Plus, I'm quite sure that you're not interested in having another one of me to look after. No matter how 'pretty' I am, I can tell that you don't like me very much."

His faint frown faded, as he reached a hand for hers and pulled her close. "Listen. I do not hate you. I truly do not know how to prove this to you, but I shall try my best." and with that said, he gave her a brief kiss.

Corinne was honestly surprised by his actions. She had truly believed that he disliked her. Sure he'd been flirty, but he'd been kind of on and off about it. She didn't kiss him back, she was as stiff as a slab of stone. This was why she didn't like surprises. She never knew how to react.

"Now do you beleive me when I stated that I do not hate you?" he inquired, gently letting her out of his tight grasp as he closed his eyes and breathed silently. Once he re-oppened his eyes, he murmured; "Knew I made the right choice,"

Corinne nodded, her eyes still wide. "I believe you," she said, just loud enough for him to hear. She was still recovering from the shock of his kiss. Had she felt anything? A spark? She wasn't sure. She had been too surprised to register any other emotion. Now that she thought about it, she was kind of disappointed. That had been her first kiss, and she didn't even know how it was. She frowned, telling herself that she would make up for the lost first kiss later.

"I'm quite sorry for the sudden actions, though." he mumbled, lowering his gaze to his feet as he allowed a few temporary moments of quickened silence go by. He unsheathed a small knife and twirled it numerous times, unable to say anything else to the matter, or any other matter, at the time being. All he was capable of saying, were his appologies. Numerous appologies that he could speak of, and go on about ti'll the time of the day died out and he'd fall asleep at the sound of the wolves crying out the arrival of the night. But then again, it was still day. He'd rather enjoy at the moment.

Corinne nodded again, looking at him curiously. "Don't be sorry. I'm not angry with you. I just am not sure if your feelings for me are returned quite yet. That was my first kiss, so I'm quite inexperienced at these things. Put the fact that you caught me off guard," she allowed a small smile to play on her lips, hoping that he wouldn't take any of her words too much to heart. She didn't want to break his heart... but she doubted that he was that kind of man, anyways. Was he?

A faint smirk made it's way to his face, which eventually grew out into a full smirk. "'Twas my first, as well." he stated, speaking the full truth. Firstly, he was not one to lie. Secondly, he was not sensitive, either.
