I frowned and kneed him between the knees, elbowing him in the gut, and smacked the side of his head. "What a self-absored jerk." I frowned, walking away.

I shrugged. "Only in your opinion." I sat down on a fallen log and dug around in my backpack. I finally found some granola bars and opened one. I considered sharing my provisions with Deca but decided against it. I would need all the food I could get.

I backed away on the first attempt, got hit in the gut, and ducked, but then I tripped and fell face first. "Prat," I muttered, standing up and brushing sand off me. I decided to get even; I hid behind a large willow tree and threw a mango at her back.

"Whatever." I looked down at the ground; why was making a simple conversation with a guy so hard?

"You idiot! We need that for food! Do you want us to starve?" I screamed, taking a hard coconut and heaving it at his head, watching as it made a huge knot on his forehead.

I ducked at the mango and caught it, throwing it at his chest and watching as it splattered against his shirt.

I grinned wickedly, and threw a pineapple at her shin, wipping mango off my shirt.

I dodged the pineapple and grabbed it, walking over to him and knocking the pineapple over his head as hard as possible, pushing him into the water.

I fall back, everything around me spinning. Spencer's a blur, and I know she knows she hit me really hard since I feel a large lump on the side of my head, so I decided to play it for all it's worth. I stay under water, acting as if I blacked out from the pineapple hit, and think back to how long I could hold my breath. About four minutes, maybe more if needed.

"Yeah, just my carry on, though. You?"

Rolling my eyes, I walked over and took his hand, digging my stiletos into the sand to pull him off. "Oh, come on." I rolled my eyes, once again. When he wasn't moving, I sat on his gut. Eventhough I was only about 102lb, I could stay here all day, "Come on." I groaned.

I resisted the impulse to push her over into the water, but stayed there instead trying not to laugh. Good thing she didn't know how long I could hold me breath.

I'm not that deep, so I'll be able to how my breath longer, I note. Oh no. She's starting that stupid shoe story. Last time I almost kicked her in the shin, but this time I'll remain still. She wants to crack me, I know, so I can't let her win. Oh goody, I love this story, I think.

"Don't judge the kids from Alister's. A lot of them are very nice," I said firmly, but chewing the inside of the cheek when I finish.
