Lucas the crazy good looking son of Luna the moon godess he is also betrothed to Solat Sola\'s daughter. 
Jacob the Gourgoues faternal twin brother of Daniel just a regular old farm boy falls head over heels for Sonya. 
Daniel Jacob\'s faternal twin brother who is also very hot and HE goes crazy for Laura (whos falling fast for Lucas). 
Sonya another pretty farm girl from west Kentucky also Laura\'s bestest friend ever failling for the amazingly cute Jacob. 
Solat the very pretty daughter of Sola she is also betrothed to Lucas Luna\'s son. 
Sola Godess of the sun and Mother of Solat she and Luna act as caregivers to the girls when they first arrive in Romentia.

- [spoiler] \"Later loser\" called Brandy the school mean girl as she ran off to class leaving poor Laura White crying by her locker \"get a hold of yourself Laura\" she said to herself \"you can\'t let that jerk Brandy get to you\" \"Laura where have you been?\" Asked Laura’s best friend Sonya as she walked up. \"Science started 5 minutes ago.\" \"Mrs.Smith told me to come find you, this is your 3rd time being tardy you know two more and-\" \"then I get detention I know I know\" interupted Laura. \"OK well lets go Mrs.Smith is already mad enough\" said Sonya and they walked off. Since science was there last period Laura and Sonya decided to go to Laura\'s house. \"MOM I BROUGHT SONYA OVER FOR DINNER OK?\" called Laura as she stepped inside \"OK SWEETIE\" her single mother called back Laura\'s Dad had died a year ago. leaving only Laura\'s mother to care for her. \"lets go to my room\" said Laura \"ok\" answered Sonya. \"so I heard Johnathen Spence likes you\" Sonya told Laura \"really?\" asked Laura surprised \"huh that\'s weird hes never even talked to me\" \"well hes seen you across the room and you know how shy he is\" \"yeah I guess your right oh well anyways\".... \"BYE SONYA!\" \"BYE LAURA!\" Laura and Sonya called to each other later that evening. After that Laura went upstairs brushed her teeth and went to bed. The next morning was Saturday so Sonya and Laura decided to go down to the creek. “look at this cool rock Sonya” Laura said while holding a brightly colored stone. “wow that’s pretty” said Sonya glancing over at it. “But look what I found” “what is it?” “Just follow me” “ok” Sonya lead Laura to a massive cave. “wow” whispered Laura “yeah” responded Sonya “should we go inside?” Asked Laura “I dunno do you want to?” Sonya responded with another question. “yeah you know what let’s do it!” “Ok” said Sonya and they walked in.

- \"Hey what\'s down there?\" Asked Laura \"what I don\'t see anything\" said Sonya while squinting her eyes. \"that there\'s a light\" \"what light?\" \"RIGHT THERE!\" Laura screamed,\"OH now I see it I dunno wanna go see?\" Sonya asked (completely obliveously). \"Sure why not I mean were already in the cave.\" Responded Laura,so they walked a few more feet and then. \"WOW!\" \"WHERE are we?\" Sonya asked in bewildered amazment. \"I wish I knew\" answered Laura (also in bewildered amazment). Laura and Sonya had suddenly found themselves surrounded by trees and grass and a shimmering river. And I know what your thinking why is that so amazing? well I will tell you why this was no ordinary forest the grass was the color of emeralds the trees were the color of the clouds and the river was a perfect aqua color. And now you know why it was so amazing anyways back to the story.\"what is this place?\" asked Laura \"why this is Romentia stranger\" answered a small voice \"what who said that?\" Laura and Sonya said in unison. \"down here\" said the same small voice, Laura and Sonya looked down and see a teeny tiny little girl. She had red hair and was wearing a leaf as a blouse and a small rose bud as a skirt ( it was quit fashionable really). \"who what are you?\" asked Sonya \"oh my name is Rosilinda and I am a flower nymph\" \"a flower nymph?\" Laura inquired \"Yes are we not common where you come from?\" \"well I guess you could say that\" \"anyway what are your names strangers?\" \"oh im Laura and this is Sonya.\" \"strange names I have never before heard them well why have you come to Romentia?\" \"well we kinda got here by accident\" said Laura \"speaking of which we should really be getting ba-\" \"what is it?\" asked Laura as she turned around towards Sonya who was behind her. \"uh-oh\" what is the uh-oh you ask well lets listen. \"how can it be gone?!\" \"I don\'t know!\" \"please tell me what troubles you.\" squeaked Rosilinda\'s little voice \"well there was this cave right here that lead to our home but now its gone!\" Said Sonya in a slightly louder than intended tone. \"I know I am young but there has never been a cave there\" said Rosilinda. \"what?\"asked Laura \"how can that be we just walked through it!\" \"well if its answers you looking for you should go to Luna Godess of moonlight she has all the answer but you better hurry you can only see her right when the moon rises and its about to rise\" Rosilinda told them. \"But which way do we go?\" asked Laura \"just follow the rainbow stones\" said Rosilinda pointing and right where she pointed suddenly a line of small rainbow colored stones appeared. Laura looked down to thank her but she had left as swiftly as she came. \"well I guess theres no harm in trying it\" said Sonya shrugging her shoulders. \"guess your right lets go\" and they walked off following the rainbow stones.
CHAPTER 3

- \"Ugh when are we going to get there Laura?\" Sonya whined \"Sonya I would tell you if I knew\" Laura answered in a frustrated tone, \"but we\'ve been walking for HOURS\" Sonya whined again. \"Like I don\'t know that!\" Laura snapped \"how long have we been walking Laura?\" \"well lets see.. WHAT!?\" \"what is it Laura?\" Sonya asked in a worried tone \"according to my watch we\'ve only been walking for forty five minutes!\" \"What?\" \"That can\'t be possible we got here at noon and the sun is almost set!\" \"I know it can\'t be but it is!\" \"well maybe time passes faster here.\" Sonya said with a puzzled look on her face \"well maybe it does but I say we just keep following the rainbow stones.\" Laura stated firmly \"yeah I guess your right...\" about one hour later (according to Laura\'s watch).... \"Sonya look!\" \"what?\" Sonya asked with a yawn, \"the moon!\" \"It\'s right there and and theres a lady standing on it!\" \"What where!?\" Sonya asked now fully awake, after a few minutes of running \"wow\" gasped Laura \"its like right there I could touch it\" Sonya said in awe (by the way right now there standing right next to the moon) \"well should we climb on or what?\" \"yes you should\" Laura and Sonya looked down at the same time and then yelled (also at the same time \"Rosilinda!\" \"What how did you get it here?\" Sonya asked bewildered \"the same way you did I walked\" \"but we didn\'t see you below or behind or in front of us\" \"oh I was there infact I was riding on your shoulder the whole time Sonya.\" \"but how I looked at her several times and never saw you?\" \"oh I was just on the other side\" Sonya and Laura pondered this for a moment until \"you two better get up there you don\'t want to miss Luna then you would have to wait till tomorrow to try again\" Rosilinda squeaked. \"so do we just step up or what?\" \"no you must jump\" \"jump?\" \"yes jump up towards it\" \"will you be coming with us?\" Laura asked with worry \"no I can\'t Luna only allows the ones who have a question but I will be here when you get back.\" \"Ok Rosilinda just be safe.\" Laura said picking her up in her hand and kissing her little head she had grown rather fond of the little nymph.\"don\'t worry about me\" Rosilinda said as Laura set her down \"I\'ll be fine\" and as she said that she lay down under a dandilion to take a nap. \"well we better jump up there the moon is about to pass us\" Laura said \"yeah we should\" \"\"well are you ready?\" \"yeah lets do it\" and so they jumped up on the moon.
CHAPTER 4

- \"this is so cool\" Sonya stated in awe \"I know\" Laura responded \"well I guess we better find that moon lady or whatever.\" \"Yeah I guess your right\" \"what did Rosilinda say her name was Luna?\" Sonya asked \"yeah I think that was it\" \"well then I think we should call for her\" \"OK\" so then they both yelled \"LUNA!!\" and since no one came they yelled again \"LUNA!\" \"Yes yes alright i\'m coming!\" They heard from somewhere near then a beautiful woman with pale gray skin and slightly darker gray hair came around in a long flowing dress that was pure white. \"well what is it?\" The woman who they assumed to be Luna asked she had a voice that was calming and sing songy with a slight accent that the girls could not distinguish. \"well my name is Laura and this is Sonya are you Luna?\" \"Why yes of course I am now please tell me what it is that you need I am very busy\" Luna stated briskly, \"well we are kinda trying to get home but the way got here was blocked off and this little nymph Rosilinda she-\" \"Rosilinda sent you?\" Luna interrupted \"why yes she did\" \"well then why didn\'t you say so Rosilinda is a close personal friend of mine so just tell me what you need and it is done.\" \"Well as I was saying before...\" A few minutes after Laura\'s explaining \"oh dear I see well the only way to get back is to find the portal that you came from\" Luna stated \"but it\'s gone\" Sonya said worried that they would never get home, \"oh not gone it merely changed poistion my dear\" Luna said in a motherly tone. \"You see when ever someone comes through the portal it changes places no one knows exactly why we just know it does so all you have to do is find it\" \"but how?\" Laura asked with even more worry than Sonya \"this land is huge we\'ll never find it!\" \"Oh yes you will the stones of rol\" \"the what?\" \"The stones of rol\" \"what are the stones of rol?\" \"Well\" Luna began to explain. \"Long ago when the portal was first found by my great-great-great grandmother she also found two small stones near it that had the ability to detect the portal wherver it may be and so she had them set in necklaces then she gave on to my great great grandmother and my great great aunt and so the necklaces have been passed from generation to generation and they finally came to me.\"Wow\" Laura and Sonya said at the same time,\"well we would really appreciate it if you gave them to us\" Laura said with thanks in her voice. \"well then I shall ask my son to fetch them\" \"your son?\" Laura and Sonya asked \"Yes did I forget to mention?\" \"Kind of\" Sonya joked, \"oh how rude of me well then I shall call for him Lucas dear would you come out here please.\" \"Yes mother\" the girls heard a voice similar to Luna\'s but deeper and more masculin answer \"what is it mother?\" Luna\'s son asked as he came around, the one thing that was going through Laura and Sonya\'s heads was \' wow is he georgeous\' he looked similair to his mother but he had darker gray skin and hair and he wore a black muscle shirt and long flowy gray pants, \"I would like you to meet Laura and Sonya\" Luna said pointing to them in turn. \"hello\" Lucas said to the girls they almost fainted. \"Lucas darling would you please fetch the stones of rol?\" \"Yes Mother\" he came back a few minutes later with a small wooden box with a picture of a cresecnt moon with the sun inside it on top, \"what does that picture stand for?\" Sonya asked looking at it \"oh it is the symbol of my family it means that as long as we hold the power things as different as night and day can live in harmony\" Luna answered caressing the image, \"well would you like to see them?\" \"Oh yes very much\" Laura said nodding furiously. \"well then I shall open the box\" and as she said this she took a small key from a chain that was around her neck and opened the box. Inside were two of the most beautiful necklaces Laura and Sonya had ever seen they had a simple silver gray chain but were set in a golden piece and they were almost identical except one was green the other aquamarine. \"there there\" \"amazing\" Laura fineshed Sonya\'s stuttering sentence for her \"and they are yours\" Luna said giving Laura the green one and Sonya the aqua. \"wow I don\'t know how to thank you\" Laura said putting her\'s on and Sonya just sat there in stunned silence. \"well considering its night and you have along journey ahead would you like to stay and rest?\" Luna offered \"oh yes that would be wonderful\" Sonya said thankfully \"yes we are very tired\" Laura said \"well then that\'s seteled Lucas please show the girls where they will be sleeping\" \"yes Mother\" and so he did.
*CHAPTER 5*

- "So Lucas how is it being the son of a goddess?" Sonya inquired while they were walking to there sleeping places,"fine I guess I mean it's not all glamor like you would think" "really?" Laura asked, joining the conversation "yes really" Lucas answered "I bet a lot of girls are after you though right?" Sonya asked "actually no because you see I 'm betrothed to Solat the daughter of Sola the goddess of the sun." "Oh I see so when is the wedding?" Sonya asked him "as soon as Solat turns sixteen which is my age and also the age of marriage." "Oh so your sixteen that's how old I am too" Said Laura, "really?" "Odd that your not yet wed could your parents not find a suitable young man?" "Oh" Laura said blushing "where I come from girls usually get married when were older." "We also usually choose our own husband", said Sonya "wouldn't it be difficult to choose the right one?" Lucas asked with a confused look. "Sometimes but most of us find him in the end" Laura answered looking at him. "I see well here we are" said Lucas pointing next to a large crater with padding on the bottom. "Sleep well" Lucas said handing them each a blanket, "thanks Lucas see you in the morning" Laura called to him as he walked away. "Your welcome" he called back. "well I'm reallt tired and not that it's dark lets go to sleep" Said Laura with a yawn, "ok goodnight Laura" said Sonya also yawning "night Sonya." soon after they fell asleep.
*CHAPTER 6*

- "Laura you have to go through the portal now" said an unfamiliar voice "NO I can't leave you" Laura screamed back at the voice. "Laura you must go now or risk never returning to your home" "I don't care I want to stay with you!" "no Laura" and with that the owner of the voice shoved her into a deep dark cave then Laura woke up "HUH" Laura exclaimed in a whisper as she shot up from the peacful slumber she was in. "Laura what's the matter?" asked Sonya rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, " oh nothing just a bad dream." Said Laura with a small smile on her face, "well I wonder what you eat for breakfast around here" Laura said making a closer inspection of her surrounding for it was much easier to see now than last night. "Good your awake" came a voice from above them they looked up to see Lucas smiling down at them, "yes we are now what do have for breakfast around here?" Laura asked tossing a blanket up at him. Lucas smiled and tossed it back "well why don't you come and see?" Laura and Sonya climbed out of the crater they had slept in and walked with Lucas to what they assumed was breakfast,when they got there what they saw before them was a huge table covered in several different fruits, hot drinks,cold drinks, steaming spiced meats and several other items all of equal yummyness some they recognized such as apples, strawberries,orange juice and bacon; but some where quit alien there was a strange fruit the size and shape of a watermelon but it was dark purple outside and orange inside! It was also quit possibly the most delicous thing the girls had ever tasted, "what is this?" Ask Sonya in awe after taking her first bite. "That is what is know as the mangosteen" it is only ripe from late fall to early winter so it is very hard to get but it is VERY delicous" "I'll say" Sonya exclaimed chomping down into her slice of mangosteen. "Yes it is very good" Laura said nodding as she took a bite, and the rest of the morning continued that way the girls asking aout one delicous food or another and Lucas telling them about it strangley Luna never joined them and Laura had to ask why. "Lucas why isn't Luna going to join us for breakfast?" Laura asked him with a bit of concern on her face, "because she is very busy and takes her breakfast privatley." Laura and Sonya exchanged a glance both wondering what could make Luna so busy, "well if you are finished Mother asked me to show you around Romentia a little" Lucas said with a smile once he had finished chewing a piece of meat that smelled of honey and was colored like a grapefruit. "Yes I would say were done" Laura said as she stood up "wouldn't you Sonya?" "Yep!" Sonya said with a broad grin, "I can't eat another bite" "good then we shall set off." Said Lucas and started walking away, the girls followed him until they reached a tall stone staircase "uh is there a shorter way down?" Asked Sonya with a nervous tone (she was afraid of heights,) "oh of course" said Lucas looking at Sonya with sympathy and then suddenly screamed "ARIA!" The girls then heard a loud noise somewhere beetween a lions roar and the bleat of a goat, then they saw Aria; she was a large creature that looked somewhat like an orange dragon except that she had fur all over her feet and two very large horns portruding from her forehead. "Sonya,Laura THIS is Aria" Lucas said while stroking the enourmus creature that had landed beside him with a thud, "what is she?" Laura asked slightly frightened, "she is one of only six left of her kind known as the Therion." Lucas said while still stroking his awesome pet "we also have one of her cousins who when she is old enough she is supposed to mate with because her species is dying out" Lucas said with a sad look on his face, "oh that's not good" Laura said with sympathy "no it's not" Lucas said with a blank expression as if he were somewhere else. But he quickly regained himself, "well are you going to come with me or what?" He asked the girls his smile coming back, "sure but how are we going to get on?" "Sonya asked with a confused expression, "oh right sorry" Lucas said with an apologetic smile, "Aria mounting postion" he said to the creature with a commanding tone. Aria then lowered her neck and tail so that you could climb up from either side, the girls climbed up and then they were off! Once they landed (and waited for Sonya to recover) they set off, they had landed in what seemed to be a marketplace "wow this is just-wow" Laura said in awe (Sonya was still catching up.) "Yes I love coming to the marketplace" Lucas said with a wide smile they had been exploring for awhile when Laura said to Lucas and Sonya, "you guys go on ahead I want to sit for a second." "Well alright but we won't go very far" Lucas said looking concerned don't worry I'll be fine Laura said grinning as she sat down on a crudeley made wooden bench. After she had lost sight of the two Laura leaned back and relaxed until,, she felt a hand grasp her throat and cover her mouth she couldn't move her head to see who her abductor was because of the hand on her throat but she heard a voice hiss. "Don't you dare try to scream or it will be the end of you" then everything went black.

Thanks guys!!!! you know bookworm I thought that I couldn't write a story either but I just chose an interesting topic though up a basic story line and started typing and then I had a four star story! this was on a different forum that story got deleted though because of a change in rules but I can tell you now that it was four star and was a great story with a good few readers just ask tolly.
