The Plains of the Magpie--A Wild Horse Roleplay

I wiped the tears from his short fur on his face. "Ad, forget about it okay? I hate seeing you like this. Just get some sleep, kay?"

I started weeping in my sleep.

"Okay," Adriano replied, trying to block out the world as he trotted forward, closer to the mouth of the cave, and lowered himself to the ground, his eyes closing and his legs folding under him.

I laid beside him in the cold to make sure he went to sleep. The effort was useless considering I soon fell asleep myself with the raindrops occasionally drifting in from the wind.

Adriano soon drifted off, as well, the rhythm of the raindrops soothing his frayed nerves.

I woke up early in the morning and stood quietly, looking around at Rosebell and Adriano, both asleep. I trotted out of the cave and eagerly began munching on some grass. Fresh dew-covered grass after a midnight rainfall? Very delicious.

Adriano awoke when he felt a body stir next to him. He stood, and trotted out of the cave as well, his head low as he began to pull up grass.

In my dream I was loved. I was lead mare I had a past.

I heard Adriano come up and begin eating. "Good Morning." I said with a large grin.

"G'morning, M'lady," Adriano replied to Nyxii, lifting his head.

I smiled. "How was your sleep?" I asked politely, slyly wondering if he kept thinking about Isabella when I told him not to.

"Well," Adriano replied with a slight nod. "And you?"

I shrugged. "Fine." I lied easily. I had dreamt of racing, and then what I called "The Incident" except at the end I actually died.

"Good," Adriano replied. "Is Rosebell still sleeping?" he asked.

I woke up at the sound of my name. I galloped over to them. "Good morning," I smiled

"Mornin'" I said with a smile, munching another small mouthful of grass.

This place looked like a picture in the morning!

"I suppose not," Adriano whispered to Nyxii, then turned to Rosebell. "Morning."

I grinned. (Wb)

(Pahaha, kind of same here. xP Tis stinks. Lol.)

Adriano lowered his head again and began munching on grass. The soft weeds had been coated with morning dew, plus last night's rain, so they were wet and very delicious. The soft morning breeze blew his mane, and he smiled, feeling slightly ticklish.
